The closest I will ever get to cricket!

Finally a beautiful, fresh and refined album from brit-pop: The Duckworth Lewis Method.
And it comes out in the most unusual circumstances. It’s in fact the first album in the history of music completely dedicated to the sport of cricket. My few Anglo-Saxon genes never convey to me the slightest interest for this sport and I would have never imagine an album about cricket to be this exciting, funny and - LISTEN CAREFULLY - short!
This album is the new revenge of brit-pop over all the skeptics of this music genre.

The project pounds out from the genius of Neil Hannon, the lead-singer of Divine Comedy, and his passion for cricket. The Duckworth Lewis Method is in fact a term borrowed from an obscure cricketing equation that determines the winner of a match interrupted by rain.

Hannon is not afraid of performing pop and not afraid of singing a placid everyday scene of national "non-sense". The result is an ironic and delightful British album.

Take a first glance of the work by listening to the 1st single of the album:
